| 25 kilometers from Nimes, the Castle Roubaud winery has been in the same family since 1900. Started with 26 hectares off vineyards, the domain increased generation by generation to its present 70 hectares. |

| In 1950, after the creation off the V.D.Q.S. name (Wine Delimited off Superior Quality), Castle Roubaud became one off the most highly reputed vineyards off the areas. Louis Thomas took great pride in being the first to bottle his wine labeled Twyers-side of Gard. |
| Louis Thomas retired in 1975, and his daughter Annie Molinier took over the business, maintaining the tradition off quality and dynamism that contributed to the Castle Roubaud wines being included in the list off controlled name Twyers-side of Nimes in 1986. |
